Job and Internship Opportunities

Community Engagement Manager

To manage and grow Running Venture’s in-person and online presence by posting engaging, relevant, and brand-aligned content that promotes upcoming events, attracts race participants and volunteers, and highlights the vibrant community of athletes, sponsors, and volunteers that make each event possible. This role also focuses on building meaningful relationships with local running stores, fitness groups, and community partners to expand our reach and create opportunities for collaboration. Additionally, the social media manager will attend each event in person to support operations, capture real-time content, and engage directly with participants, volunteers, and sponsors—ensuring our digital storytelling reflects the energy and heart of each race day.

What you’ll do: 

  • Manage and grow Running Venture’s online and in-person presence

  • Create and schedule engaging, brand-aligned social media content

  • Attend events to capture live content and support on-site

  • Build relationships with local running stores and fitness groups

  • Promote races, highlight volunteers and sponsors

  • Drive race sign-ups, volunteer interest, and donations through clear calls to action

SEASONAL EVENT DAY WEEKEND CREW 

Join the Running Venture team and help bring race day to life! We’re looking for energetic, reliable crew members to support our weekend events throughout the season. This is a great way to earn extra money, meet awesome people, and be part of creating memorable experiences for runners, walkers, and families in our community.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist with event site setup and takedown

  • Help manage registration and packet pickup

  • Support course setup, signage, and volunteer coordination

  • Ride lead bike or assist with course monitoring as needed

  • Work closely with our team to ensure smooth event flow

Internships Opportunities

Looking to gain hands-on experience in event production, marketing, and community engagement? Running Venture is offering paid summer and fall internships for students and recent grads who want to be part of the action—both behind the scenes and on race day.

What you’ll do:

  • Help plan, promote, and execute our local 5Ks, 10Ks, fun runs, and other community events.
  • Assist with content creation, social media, volunteer coordination, and race-day logistics.
  • Build real-world skills, grow your network, and be part of a mission-driven team that values movement, community, and fun.
